Digital Drawings

I learned to draw with a mouse on an old Macintosh with "MacDraw."
The early works were in grayscale. These skills helped later in my career as a Graphic Designer.

I have been able to recreate my 'Imaginary Portraits' series with a new application called 'Brushes' on my iPhone.
This new synthesis of digital technology and finger painting captures gestures and intrigues me.

They are just digital doodling but also metaphorically, a contemporary portrait of the modern psyche trapped in a matrix of grids. The concept is to combine the random action paintings of Jackson Pollock with the rigid graphic structural paintings of Piet Mondrian. This combination still fascinates me today.
